Cea Knox brought attention to the quality of scholar athletes found at Salkehatchie

Cea Knox, a Lady Indians pitcher from Myrtle Beach, became the first ever player from USC Salkehatchie to earn the honor of being named to ESPN The Magazine’s Softball All-American, All-district second team. She was selected for District 3, which includes much of the eastern United States. Knox was the only junior college player selected this year in District 3 and may have been the only junior college player in the nation selected. She graduated from USC Salkehatchie in May with high honors and transferred to Francis Marion.
