Scottie K. Ash—BS in home economics from Florida State University in 1976; employed as the director of revenue at the S.C. State Museum since 1988; lives in Columbia

Brenda Dixon Davis—served as a professor at USC Salkehatchie from 1971 to 1974; BA from Winthrop University in 1963; MAT in geography from Carolina in 1974; retired from public school teaching in 1999 after teaching more than 35 years; taught geography as an adjunct professor at Charleston Southern (1990–2001) and Trident Technical College (2001–2003); named the S.C. Geographic Alliance Teacher of the Year at the high-school level for 1995–1996 and Berkley High School Teacher of the Year for 1996– 1997; has three cats that are her “furry children”; lives in Moncks Corner
