TO PRINT A SCHEDULE/BILL

  1. Go to https://vip.sc.edu/.
  2. Click on Login
  3. Choose the “USC ID/PIN Login & First Time Users” tab.
  4. In the Step 1 Box:    Type in  your social security number (no dashes)
  5. Press “Tab”
  6. In the Step 2 Box:  Type in your 4 digit PIN
  7. In the Step 4 Box:  Click on  Login.
  8. You are now on the main menu page
  9. Click on Financial
  10. In the Fees and Payment section, click on Show Me Schedule and Bill
  11. View and print bill

(If access to a computer at home/work is not available, USC Salkehatchie has computers available for student use in the computer lab in the Walterboro Main Building, or the Library on either campus).

BILL PAYMENT

Payment must be must be RECEIVED in the Business Office to avoid class cancellation.

Payment using FINANCIAL AID

STUDENTS RECEIVING  FINANCIAL AID MUST FORWARD/COMMIT FINANCIAL AID (scholarships, grants and loans). If you have financial aid and still owe a balance, the balance due must be paid before financial aid can be forwarded/committed. If you have Direct and/or Perkins Loans, entrance loan counseling must be completed and promissory note must be signed/submitted prior to advancing financial aid.

This method of payment can be utilized after you have been advised and have entered classes using VIP.

9.  Click on FINANCIAL

10.  Click on SHOW ME FEES, TUITION, AND PAYMENT

11.  Follow instructions as presented by the VIP PROGRAM

12.  Click on PRINT (at top of screen).  Keep a copy of this page as receipt of payment.

FINANCIAL AID OVERAGE CHECKS

If you have paid your bill online (VIP)  electronic transfer of overage checks will begin after class attendance has been verified by your instructor(s). Electronic deposit usually takes from 24 up to 72 hours to be credited to your checking account. Financial Aid Overage (Refund) availability will be published on the website each semester.

To sign up, complete the Direct Deposit form and return to our office along with a voided check. If you do not use checks, you may submit an official statement from your financial institution stating the routing and account number for your checking account.

Payment by VIP. (E-CHECK*, CREDIT CARD**, or FINANCIAL AID) Payment may begin by E-CHECK or CREDIT CARD after you have been advised and have entered classes using VIP.

Payment using E-CHECK

9.  Click on FINANCIAL

10.  Click on SHOW ME FEES, TUITION and PAYMENT

11.  Scroll down and click on PAY FEES

12.  Select PAY BY BANK ACCOUNT

A sample check will appear.  Key in:

A. Transit/Routing Number

B. Bank account

C. View for accuracy

D. Submit for payment

13.  Click on PRINT (at top of screen).  Keep a copy of this page as receipt of payment.

*If you choose to use E-CHECK, a convenience fee will not be charged.

Payment using CREDIT CARD

Follow steps 1 thru 8 same as above “TO PRINT SCHEDULE/BILL”

9.  Click on FINANCIAL

10.  Click on SHOW ME FEES, TUITION and PAYMENT

11.  Scroll down and click on PAY FEES

12.  Select PAY BY CREDIT CARD

(Only one credit card can be used to complete the payment.)

  1. Click on PRINT (at top of screen).  Keep a copy of this page as receipt of payment.

In order to pay by credit card you MUST pay the full amount due.  Payment online will not allow partial payment.

** If you choose to use a CREDIT CARD for online payment, VISA is no longer accepted. MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. A convenience fee of 2.5% is charged when paying by credit card on VIP.

In–Person Payment

Students may bring a copy of their bill to the Business Office in either Allendale or Walterboro to pay tuition and fees. Walk-in payments are accepted in the Business Office of each campus on Fee Payment day between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. However, to avoid long lines and waiting, you are encouraged to pay by mail or on-line. Walk-in payment options include cash, check, and money order.
