Dr. Wei-Kai Lai and Dr. Fidele Ngwane present at conference

Dr. Wei-Kai Lai and Dr. Fidele Ngwane attended 2014 Mathematical Association of America Southeast Section Spring Meeting from March 13 to March 15 at Tennessee Tech University. In the conference Dr. Lai gave a presentation entitled “Chebyshev’s Sum Inequality on Positive Tensor Products”, and Dr. Ngwane gave a presentation entitled “A block hybrid method for the direct solution of second order initial value problems”.

Dr. Li Cai published

Dr. Li Cai’s paper entitled “Thin Layer Chromatography” was published in Current Protocols Essential Laboratory Techniques.

Dr. Fidele Ngwane and Dr. Wei-Kai Lai advised a student resulting an article

Cameron Cooper, a former Math399 Independent Study student, Dr. Fidele Ngwane, Assistamt Professor of Mathematics, and Dr. Wei-Kai Lai, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, published an article entitled “An improved Fibonacci inequality” in the Journal of the South Carolina Academy of Science.
